I was at the dock one day, pouring a diesel Jerry can of fuel in my tank, when the spout gave way and I almost had a terrible accident. Lucky I was! It became clear I would never turn a fuel can over again. Running home, I noodled the idea and fashioned a double hose with cap. Blow into it instead of suck on a fuel hose. Having the fueling hose in-place first, is spill proof. It became instantly clear this was fun, even not looking after it starts.
When anyone saw me they said make me one, I did and now they are here and in stores.
Another garage project to save the ecology from fuel spills. Believe me, once you use this it doesn't matter the cost it is real and it works, simple and perfect.
The hose won't kink! Ever.
Use it once and become a believer, remember buy 2, you won't want to give yours away!
you twisted my arm at the Richmond CA boatshow in early April... to purchase puff the magic siphon.
i just had my first experience with 4 gerry cans of very expensive diesel ($7.50/gal). it did indeed work as well as you described, and i did not spill a drop during the xfer. also, the cans were quite empty (after blowing one final time into the breather hose.
